HALO Space

HALO Space, founded in 2021 in Madrid, is developing high-altitude balloon vehicles for space tourism. The company’s pressurized capsule (for 8 passengers plus pilot) will be lifted by a helium balloon to around 30–40 km altitude, allowing travelers to see the curvature of Earth. By using balloons instead of rockets, HALO Space aims to provide a more sustainable and affordable spaceflight experience. Each journey will last up to six hours and offer panoramic 360° views from the edge of space.
