The Exploration Company

The Exploration Company (TEC), founded in 2021, is building reusable space capsules and logistics vehicles to advance sustainable exploration beyond Earth. Headquartered in Munich and Bordeaux, TEC’s primary project is Nyx – a modular, reusable spacecraft designed to carry cargo (and eventually crew) to destinations such as low Earth orbit and the Moon. Nyx vehicles will enable services like space station resupply, orbital experimentation, and later human spaceflight, helping to establish a more accessible and versatile in-space infrastructure. The company embraces a pan-European identity and has secured major contracts and funding to bring Nyx to fruition.
